Veg Vs. Non Veg

This is an old topic to debate on but still one has so much to talk about it. I am a Non Veg eater and love veg dishes as well. There are many say that Non veg is not good to have regularly and veg is better. Would like to have a debate on this as why you consider Veg or Non Veg better?

Vegetarianism is nothing more then a fad movement for self-righteous peeps who think that they are somehow in better standing because they choose to kill plants rather then animals.

However as far as health is concerned, both has its benefits and downsides. You won't remain healthy if you choose to stick to a vegetable-only diet. Same thing with non-vegs, meat has lots of awesome protein in it but excess protein will at some point turn into fat lol.

Besides, we're omnivores, not herbivores or carnivores. Why don't we all just balance our meal with both veggies and meat?
But from a debating standpoint, I'm sticking with non-vegetarians.

I love my vegetables and my meat also. If you are health conscious, then you might want to eat more vegetables. Meat can give you more protein and can help you feel more full. You're going to need to eat more if you want to fully replace meat as a protein source. Just balance your food intake and you will be good. Don't forget to exercise though.

both veg and non veg beneficial for human body. as far i know its philosophy of hindus. I have read in an article that ratio of diseases is higher in veg guys and they got sick because of avoiding meat and lack of proteins. so a balanced diet will lead you a healthy life.

Balance diet is needed so we need to eat Vegetables, sea foods, meat and others.....

If we didn't eat meat, we wouldn't get the necessary nutrition needed to survive a healthy life. I fully support eating anything that helps you live healthy. Vegetarianism is just a hipster movement that people have been doing for hundreds of years imo, their's nothing wrong with eating 3 oz of red meat a week.

I am more a non veg. For me veg, are like stale food.
Can't even get tastier.

i Personally feel non-veg is good at times like a day/week as it gives good proteins ,stamina and many other things which are required by our body but we should not take it everyday because it may increase bad cholesterol which may invite heart-related problems in future.
