no i was just thinking about @epidemic and verified members and i thought about this... shouldnt verified members be required to compensate the victims if their account is taken?

No, this is not what this thread is about. He's questioning what happens many times a day on here when users get hacked.

I assume that the user will have to provide sufficient proof that he was hacked if anything bad was going to happen.

@Elite is a trusted user and I know that he wouldn't scam anyone. I understand you were only questioning this. I'm just answering your question and his question at the same time.

It doesn't matter how close you are/were at the time of the upgrade...Lol their requirements for a reason. I guess they don't matter though.

Why wouldn't you just PM a staff member about this instead of making a thread...they're the only ones who can answer your ridiculous question with absolute certainty

Yes I'm aware of that but it also says to check the power + members for their details and a lot of them don't meet the requirements so it's either up to philly or they won it in a giveaway

I'm not missing any point. I got power+ when I was less than 2 months old on this site.

Philly decides who he gives the upgrade too. If people don't like his decision then they'll get punished for it. As seeing with @Andy

I think they should be paid back because they are verified so people know they are legit, they should keep they're account secure. People think they can deal safely with a verified member so they do, if they get scammed then the account owner should pay back. Thats my opinion

Anyone including Verified members must pay back each and every member scammed if there account scams whether it is hacked or not. Without doing so there is zero percent chance of every being allowed on FK.
