Verifiers - A new official group?

I would like to bring this idea to these forums. It would be nice if we had an group called Verifiers and the main idea for that group would be similiar to Reviewers on HF but Verifiers would also "review" programs so they would be clean and also do a few checks of the sellers background before he would be able to sell anything here. Although no one can't ever ensure the safety of buyers 100%, this would still be a great add on to XS.

What's your opinions?

I think that is a pretty good idea. Besides that if you don't trust a program you can run it in a VM. I always have VMWare opened and i'm allways starting up programs there first if anything will happen i won't lose anything. But i think it still is a very good idea!

It would be wise to create the group already as if it was implemented later on when there are much more members on XS, the workload would be a real pain in the ass to start out with :s

Okay this sounds like a good Idea but we need to hear it from the Owner and if anyone applies for this to be an official group contact J4mmy and maybe donate some points to him so he can get the Group Official. Not sure if anyone has heard but getting groups you might have to get it with buying it with points. If this does become official send me a private message on what this group will be doing in a more detailed way so I can write about this in the News Section.

Just keep in mind OP as soon as the site get's bigger though I am sure eXore will be happy to let you lead the Group

I and eXore talked about that yesterday, and he does agree with that one. There'll be a group created dedicated to reviewing products, and we'll chose someone as a leader who's trustworthly, and it will possibly happen once the Marketplace gets more active.

I think there should be a download attachment function and theres a group of people who can verify it's safe so the attachment can be downloaded by regular members.
