Video contest

I think that we should have a video contest with prizes.

Users will create a YouTube video. They will be judged on how good the video is, how informative the video is, how many views, how many likes, how many referrals they got from the video, and maybe some other aspects.

The video contest will benefit rune gear because it will be able to get more members, make members more active because of the incentives of winning, and it will be fun!

If you have one in your mind and you will pay for the prizes . then just make one in the Contest section .

I think he is saying he has one on his mind, but doesn't want to pay for it. Basically I think he has a video for the contest already. lol

Well, I'm sure if i'm not wrong, that this section is for suggesting for the forums.
If your debating if either someone does or doesn't host a competition for inviting members, you might want to go to the lobby.
Find someone willing to put up some prizes, unless The Elite chooses to.
I don't think it would be good though, because the people who are invited have about a 25% to stay, or it feels like that to me.
Anyways, maybe this will be put into effect, if so and it works, great suggestion.

I mean a official video contest. Many forums have them to attract members.

A 25% chance of them staying is better than none right? Since it's only 25%, the prizes could be smaller.

And no I do not have a video made already... (or started)

I think this is a good idea, but the prizes would have to be kind of small because if there is a large prize people will only join to win.

Here's another point; The video contest will be just like the posting/points contest except it will be bigger. The contest drew in quite a few members who are staying (including myself even though I didn't win anything). It is the same idea.
