Who is smarter?
A survey of one hundred thousand participants, who use Microsoft's browser would be those with a lower IQ
In a controversial poll published this weekend on CNN, Internet Explorer users have an intelligence quotient (IQ) lower than those using other browsers.
The survey was conducted by AptiQuant, an Internet consulting firm based in Vancouver, over one hundred thousand participants.
According to survey users of Camino and Opera, as well as using Explorer with Chrome Frame (a plug-in designed to let surfers view content in HTML5) have an exceptionally high rate.
The numbers, according to CNN slogan, may not be entirely scientific, as respondents chose to participate in it by his own account, instead of having sidos selected by a group of specialists.
Explorer is the most popular Internet browser in the world with a 43% share, followed by Firefox and Chrome 30% to 19% according to data provided by the firm StatCounter in May this year.
Boaters using Explorer 6, launched in 2001, had a mean coefficient of 80, while using Opera, peaked at 120.
