Want to start anime what series?

I want to start watching Anime but I dont know what series to start off with. I have a netflix account and that is where I will be watching the Anime so please only make recommendations for series that are on Netflix. Thanks

Most people start of with the 'mainstream' (so to say) anime's like Bleach, Naruto , DBZ etc.
I would start with some well known films by Miyazaki, like Spirited Away. Also look at some of the Studio Ghibli films.
It's really up to you in the end. There's a wide variety of genres, look for something that interests you and move on from there.

If you want some websites to download/stream anime feel free to PM me and I'll send you some I personally use.
Also i'm pretty sure Netflix doesn't have the biggest range of shows to pick from, I would look into Crunchyroll.

It's kind of hard to suggest a single anime to begin with, I think my first was Death Note.
Also I suggest you start off watching subbed anime rather than dubbed - try and get used to subs, it's worth it in the long run.

I suggest Elfen lied, it was one of the first animes I started watching. it's very intriguing.

I would suggest you start by watching Death note really nice anime. Try to watch animes that have ended already than watch the ones who have continuous ongoing seasons like naruto.
