Warning Level.

I think that with the recent ability to see peoples' warning levels, you should make it an ability where you can somehow see why they received the amount of warning level they've received. Although this may be looked at as simple and not too important, some people are curious as to why other's have warning levels, as they are when a friend is banned.

I think that in adding this ability, some groups wouldn't disallow certain members to join, as well as some people would feel more comfortable dealing with people if they can check out why they have the amount of warning level they have.

This ability is available to the Moderators and the Staff only and requires you ModCP access. Without a custom plugin or page, it's not possible.

I was unaware of that, I appreciate you letting me know about this. But, as I previously compared this to the banned reasonings, it shouldn't be too hard to add a page where you can view the reasoning of a warning level for a user? Or add a plugin where you go to the UserCP and right where it says "Stats" or "Other" we could see the warning level, somewhat like we can see the users rep.

UserCP doesn't not warnings or stats of any other users and it's solely for yourself. I think there are cases and reasons where the staff wouldn't like you to see the reasons, so I think it's fair enough not to have the ability for regular users.

I don't see the problem in viewing the reasoning for somebodies warning level, but I see what you mean in the staff wanting it to be relatively private..

Well, I'm say this from my previous experience as a Staff Member. It's called Private for a reason. Having it for viewable for Public would defeat the purpose for it. Also, making it viewable via php edits would show you the warning level title, not the full reason or comment that the staff will input while handing of awards.
