Just posting this as a warning.

Character evading
Wrong forums
Low quality posts
Flaming
Sales trashing
Complaining about warnings
Spamming
etc...

Will earn you a warning!
Tired of having to warn for these simple things you should know not to do.



Some information for you all

Buyers bay is for buying items, do not post to buy in any other sections (This counts as wrong section)
Appraisals is for appraisals don't post them anywhere else
Gamertags is for gamertags, for games/LTs/etc post in the Xbox forum, not the Gamertag subforum (Counts as wrong forum)
Do not post community warnings or warnings of any kind anywhere except the Market Korner

This will be the only warning. 3 or more times results in a ban.

I honestly feel that warnings are not enough to enforce these rules, It hasn't been enough to stop it in the past from what I can see. Maybe start with one day bans then increase the ban time for the amount of offences. For things such as character evading and other not so problematic things, one warning then a ban would suffice.

I report posts all the time for breaking 25 character limit, they usually are enforced, but I never know if they get warnings, hopefully they do.
I have a 50% warning right now though, 2 more days

I agree, even members that joined back in 2013 commonly make these mistakes.

Not so much as mistakes as it is the rules aren't enforced so they do it freely.

You can get banned for breaking rules, just like you would suffer consequences for breaking laws.

Get 100% warning and find yourself temporarily banned.

Following rules isn't hard and you don't have to be a tryhard to follow rules and post in the correct sections with appropriate content.

I felt like I had something to do with this with this announcement. There were plenty of people on my Twitter thread sales trashing, character evading, and posting with extremely low quality.

Actually no one will be temp banned if they can follow simple rules.

You don't go into someone's house to do as you wish. You follow rules.
If you don't like their rules then you don't go into their house. Fairly simple concept.
If there were no rules in place then this site would be the equivalency of ttg or any other site filled with 12 year olds and no rules.

Since you are getting banned for being lq now there would no longer be a use for this feature...
Sure you could neg someone for scamming but their rep will be wiped anyway when they are banned.

The community is already dying, if you start banning everyone the site is just going to decline further.

I also think after this thread we're going to see a lot more users scamming out...

The rules aren't even that difficult to follow lol. All you have to do is post your threads on the right forum, stop being a low quality by writing "25char limit" on the bottom of your posts, and just stop complaining about negative reps.

Not sure what this has to do with reputation....

And no one is getting banned IF THEY FOLLOW THE RULES. So if someone isn't following the rules why would you want them on the site?

These are the reasons the community is dying, ignorant children than can't follow rules.
If people attempt to "scam" after this thread then that's just sad. All the thread says is follow rules that were already in place. If it's that hard to do then just log out of your accounts.
