Information
I have created this thread for current members and new members to understand how the accustomed rules and conditions in regards to the ForumKorner warning policy. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to privately message me!

Questions and Answers
Q: How do I warn someone?
A: The only people that can warn somebody are the Forum team.

Q: How do they warn someone?
A: Staff have a little button they click located at the bottom of ones post which looks like this:

Q: Why do they warn people?
A: They warn people that break the rules established for ForumKorner. These warnings (can) accumulate and once a person hits the percentage of 100, then they are automatically banned for one whole month.

Q: How can I help the Staff with warning?
A: Easy! All you need to do is report the post you don't think is allowed! Some things you should look out for:
  • Character Evasion - Report these only if they're not in the Spamming and Trolling section. (252525, 25char25char25char, Invisible text)
  • Word Filter Evasion (Avoiding the filter set for FK. E.G: C unt)
  • Wrong Section (Threads that are not in their correct section)
  • Abuse and harassment (Telling members to harm themselves, killing themselves, general abuse and harassment, threatening to SWAT and DOX, you get the picture)
These are few of the things you can report. You can also choose a custom reason if you see something that is not right. Now I will explain how to report a post.

Reporting a post
On the bottom right of somebodies post or thread, you will see these 3 buttons. The one you need to worry about is the circled one named: "Report"

After you click that button, a little box will appear looking like the one below. All you need to do is jolt down a custom reason. Explain why you are reporting the post and what you see wrong with it!

Click the "Report Post" button and you are finished!

Warnings

WARNING (PERCENTAGE, WEEKS ON ACCOUNT, BAN)

  • Double Posting (10%, 1 week, no ban)
  • Low Quality Posting (10%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Spamming (20%, 1 week, no ban)
  • Wrong Section (20%, 1 week, no ban)
  • Flaming (20%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Leeching (20%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Grave digging (10%, 1 week, no ban)
  • Reputation Abuse (20%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Character Evading (20%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Profile Violation (30%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Advertising (50%, 1 week, no ban)
  • Adult Material (70%, 2 weeks, no ban)
  • Hacking (100%, permanent, permanent ban)
  • Scamming (100%, permanent, permanent ban)
  • Custom Reason (10-100%, 1-permanent, 1-permanent ban)

Now most of you guys can't complain when you get warned because you know the percentages and what they're for! @Philly doesn't mind me posting this, just clarifying.

Soo.. I just got 20% for char evading. What does the 2 weeks mean? If I do it again or if I get to 100%?

2 weeks means that the 20% warning level will stay on your account for that period of time (14 days). If you character evaded 4 more times it would reach 100% therefore you would be banned for 1 month.

Is there a warning for gravedigging?
(or is that leeching?)

You're not supposed to post on a thread older than three months unless it's a contest of some sort. All of this is in the Help Docs, just read through it.

Nice thread, now I can just link people to this thread every time they PM asking or complaining about why they were warned.

You should mention that a 100% warning level ends in a preliminary one month ban, potentially more if the context dictates so.

Great thread.

I did. :)

"These warnings (can) accumulate and once a person hits the percentage of 100, then they are automatically banned for one whole month."

Thank you for the positive comment, mate!

Ah, I see. I thought the statement would have had its own spot in the FAQ rather than be found under the question of "Why do they warn people?". However, that's not necessarily true for it's not automatic; it's manually done. And as I said, members risk the possibility of being banned longer if the context dictates so.

I'll edit it as soon as possible and fix it up. Yeah, I understand what you mean by it being manually done but that's not the context I was generally typing it in. Yes, I will change it.
