Way to stop spam bots!

Implement a Email Verification system.
So they can't just sign up on site.


They have to go to a email and Enter in a Verification code Then their account is activated.

Ive used this on my other site and Its really night and day difference.

If they are to lazy to check their email for 2 seconds I don't think they would be a useful member
Like I don't like doing it but I do it any ways
But it only takes 2 seconds so its not that bad

But I kinda agree If the user can't do 1 thing that takes 2 seconds That to me shows what they would contribute
But in the end we still need to please members Well at least The elite does
