We'll be moving to our new VPS today.

It's a decent VPS and it should cope well with Market Forums, we've ordered it and we're now currently waiting for it to be set up. As soon as we're ready, I'll close MF and transfer us over. Please remember to follow us on twitter to keep up with the latest updates.

The VPS will cost a total of $40 a month which is more than we're paying at the moment, but it's a step we need to take. As soon as we close I'll take a full backup so no posts/threads/rep etc will be lost from anyone. So expect around 2 hours of downtime, it could be less if your DNS updates fast. As soon as I announce that the transfer is a success I recommend flushing your DNS (CMD -> type ipconfig/ flushdns -> enter).

Good luck with that you can use Sypex Dumper to backup the database, i use it to backup all my forums

Nice can't wait for the move I would say manually backup the site like I do Phpmyadmin Backup then FTP backup Simple easy and works great anyways lets go new server! =D
