Way back 1990 when you have a dollar you can buy anything lots of things but now you can just buy candy for a dollar. How about you what can you buy for a dollar?

Not much anymore for a dollar in Mexico. Here you can buy a small cup of coffee and dough nut at my interent cafe. Or a 2 lt bottle of water or soda pop. But not much more for a dollar anymore.

I would just buy an ice cream worth 50cents. I would enjoy eating it and really feel great! With a dollar, I could buy choco javas and be happy!

You can't buy much for less than a dollar these days. Maybe a soda or a candy bar - depending on where you buy it. You can still get some small, individual candies and gum for under a dollar. You can buy a couple of postage stamps for a dollar.

yes your right before in one dollar we can buy some foods..but now only for candies..or maybe one dollar is not enough if you buy the expensive one.

In chile, with a dolar only buy 1l2 kg of bread. Oh my god or a cup of coffee...

I can get a hot dog for a dollar at this food cart that usually parks near the uni. Other than that, its a bag of toffee that usually lasts 3 days. Not bad if you don't count the massive sugar intake -- no self control >_<

If you go to an actual dollar store, everything inside costs one dollar. You can get food, shampoos, household items, candy, holiday decorations and all sorts of other stuff for just one dollar.

One dollar may not appear like much, but you can do quite a bit with it.
To most people,one dollar is a limited amount of money and may be the
close amount of what people may earn in one hour.

here in my country still we can buy so many things for $1..
$1= 1Kg of rice and 1Kg of sugar
$1= 5 cone ice creams
$1= 4 soaps
$1= 2pkts of sweets :d etc

Well in my country,I can buy an apple pie from Mac with a dollar(my currency)!I'm in love with that Junk food.Though apple is healthy,I don't know why I call it a junk food hehe Oh well.That's the only food I need if I was stuck in island with just a dollar haha!
