The egg, you can create new species through aging mold etc.

But you can't just spawn a motha fucking chicken outa a plant.

The egg I assume. Something had to have been first to incubate a life form before it starts inhabiting the earth.

Its common sense that if over time, a bird can evolve into a chicken.
But it will always be from a egg, lay by a different animal, that the chicken came from.

Maybe it wasn't a chicken that warmed the egg, and the chicken was a mutation of the original animal that layed the egg
