I accidentally said egg, but i want to say the chicken.

If this answer had any answer, it would be the chicken.

Here is why. It says in the bible that god created all ANIMALS. He didn't make eggs. So clearly the chicken came first if this were to have any answer since you can't have an egg without a chicken and you can't have a chicken without an egg.

I would say that the egg came first because of the fact that the actual species would have derived from some other creature that had to lay an egg to become the chicken. I am saying that because of evolution that the egg came first for the chicken maybe not the other creatures that came before it.

It's pretty much an evolution/religion thing.

Egg came first for evolution believer

Chicken came for for religion believer

Well...I actually believe in God. You can believe in God while still believing evolution.

That's not my point though.

God created all animals, meaning the chicken would come first.

Then the thing you said about evolution would mean the egg would come first.

The chicken started as a reptile like creature and digressed to a chicken, or maybe it was evolution. But either way, at one point it gave live birth but eventually ended up this strange fluffy creature (chicken) that laid eggs. Eggs have to come from somewhere, eggs themselves do not evolve.

The egg most likely came first since there were dinosaurs and since the chicken is a relative of the dinosaurs the egg was most likely a mutation of the cells and bam chickens .

This question leads to another question to where did they come from?

I just said, they're most likely proven mutations from T-Rex's as of their cousins.

I would think that it evolved from some other species, therefore, neither.

Well i reckon the nucleus of the Chicken came first
And then it suddenly was born.

If we keep asking this question, how was all the other animals born?
