What do you think about the president?

I for one don't mind him. Although this is contrary to most people I speak to in the midwest. This includes classmates, friends, family and adults in general. Their arguments are always relative to each other and somewhat primitive. Such as, "Damn antichrist is runnin' this country into socialism!" or "Fuckin muslim isnt even American!"

That first one always gets me, the Socialism part. This country is going in the opposite direction of Socialism, Fascism is whats really going on. Increased military budget and growth in the powers of the corporations.

Anyways, my personal thoughts on Obama are somewhat positive. I think he had a decent stimulus package, he has made some decent steps towards gay marriage, he did save GM, and he is the 1st president in decades to reform healthcare. I think he needs to work on being more transparent with the people about his polices and I feel that he had censored media at times. I also think he needs to work on compromising with the house majority.

I see Obama to be a spokesperson. He is only saying what will make us as a people feel better about our leader. In all reality, he is a grain of sand on a beach. He could decide to be an excellent president like FDR was, but from what I see how all he's doing is trying to remove threat from reaching the United States, by supposedly eliminating Osama Bin Laden, making our military bigger and better with new weapons, and having to deal with the threat form North Korea. If you go Google him all you really find are social media links, some pictures of him at non-profit organizations, or at a microphone. You only ever hear about him when it comes to him being at a widely watched celebration.
