What do you think of violent animes?

Well, many animes that are coming out lately are becoming increasingly violent, and so I was wondering what everyone else thought about them? Some could be Death Note, or even childish ones like Naruto.

Never the less, they're violent.

I saw High School of the Dead or whatever.. I thought it was pretty bad.

I just watched Clannad today and it's pretty funny, I'm new to anime so I'd say the more relaxed ones are better than violent.

I normally read peaceful or simple mangas... Maybe ones that aren't about fighting or something. There was one about a kid with a band that I liked... But I left it.

If manga is the thing that looks like a newspaper comic, I hate those, so much.

Yep. It sucks basically. No emotion is given and no sound, because it's paper.

What he said. :3 I do love me some fan service, but what I love even more is a well developed plot and story.

Nothings wrong with violence and ecchi in my opinion, but only if it has a good plot also.. Which is rare.

I only like violence if it has a reasonable plot and it also has to has a reason for violence besides revenge Which is Extremely rare.
