i used to use kaspersky but since i started using ubuntu i dont need one

I hate Panda, seriously. I use ESET NOD32. It's the best. I recommend it.

is there one for ubuntu.... as im getting worried with how many rats i create so one might go wrong :L

You don't really have to worry about viruses on Linux, Just have a firewall and you'll be fine. Not many viruses are able to infect Linux. Almost all of them are built for windows

On topic: Avira has one of the best detection rates, best kaspersky is the best proactive defense

yep i thought that but better to be safe then sorry i dont even think i have a firewall but tbh oh well

I would go with Kaspersky. They update their definitions every day.

Kaspersky is bloated though. That's the bad thing. Same with Norton and a lot of other good a/v's. That's why I love AVG. It's so lightweight and can run with anything else running at the same time.

PANDA LOL it's horrible trust me, i made a RAT (Virus) and i scanned it on Novirusthanks, lol... it didnt even detect it..

Avira would outperform any other Anti-virus. It has accumulated a high detection rate of 99.6%.

i personally like AVG, ive always had it and its never failed to get those skids out of my computer.

I haven't used Windows since last August or so (personally), but I'd have to stick with Avira and Avast!

All the others seem to overdo their GUI and it is just plain annoying.

Avira free worked out as well as Avast! paid and free, both of which are incredibly easy to deal with.
