What does mean the number 666 in the Bible?

It's the mark of the beast in Revelation 13:17, 18 but what does the number 666 really mean? And what does represents the number 6 in the Bible?

666 is the number of the beast that will be mark on man's forehead or rigth hand. It represents the beast itself. In the last days, all men were forced to be mark with that number, and whoever will mark with the number have no more salvation and be with the beast or the devils to be thrown into the lake of fire.

The number 666 represents the beast itself. It is at the revelation that the beast will appear and succumb humankind. The devils number will be marked on every man who worships the devil.

That's something I don't want to know and to get involved to. I don't want to know about the devil's number, I only know that it was mentioned in the bible as the number of the beast. Whatever it is, i don't want to know and just let my faith in God helps me go through this life!

its the mark of the devil..

and its slowly showing up, on many industries..

the signs is everywhere.. and its creeping me out..

i am sorry but i can't answer this as i have never read bible and am not from the same religion.but from the knowledge i have number 666 is an evil number 3 sixes when come together get bad luck with them.its just what i have known from some other source not from bible.
