What happens when you die, is there life after death?

I'm just curious because what if this is the only life and there's nothing after death?

The bible is the word of God and it tells us there is. Jesus died and was resurrected from the dead and he said where he goes we will go to. Where ever God and Jesus is is heaven and all those who have faith in Jesus will go there. I hope you put your trust and faith in Jesus so you too will live in heaven after death.

I don't believe in life after death. I also do not believe in any type of god. I believe that when we die worms decompose our bodies and we become nutrients for the surrounding plants.

yeah i dont believe in afterlife but there is this interesting theory that when you die...in like the last 5 seconds your mind is still working....and it goes fkin apeshit....and it will create your own world(just like in dreams) wich will last wich seems like an eternity but all of this process happens in 1 minute(real life)
or something like that il try to find it online if i can and il hook you up with the link

i dont belive in god... There is no proffs that he exists and lots of are not mentioned by the bible like the dinausaurs, the space, the dogmas and much of the other things. If you belive, good for you. Everyone has their opinion and you shouldn't get mad at me just because i dont belive in anything that the bible says, and the excuses that they give are just stupid most of the times. "the bible has mistakes because young people are not perfect" but those people who wrote the bible didnt talk to God? and what religion is right? the cristians? how do you know? and what makes you think that those tribes in africa with their 10 Gods dont exist, and that your god is the one existent?

I personally dont believe in life after death but there are some cases that seem like it could be true.

Awhile back i was reading somewhere that a boy rememberd his old life when he was in the war and he had a mark where he was shot in his other life.

To be honest, there are two different issuea on your above post.

First is a question, inviting to a debate.
The question is at the border of philosophy with science.

Second part ... well, I am an agnostic. That put me on the "opposite" part with everybody, beliver or atheistic.

And I ask you: Why didn't you stop your second part right before the last sentence? You would have been gain many people's respect ... But so, you only have tried to patronize me as you know better and I your truth i the real truth ...

However, the only connection between the two subjects is that christianism deny reincarnation, despite that the very bigest magnificent fact and the whole point of belivers's mind-twisting is a ... reincarnation.

If there MUST be something after the death, that can only be another life.
Is a nature circle. One's death is other's birth, one's trash is another's food.

On the other hand, if after this life is nothing .. that's it. Until we reach that point we will not know. After will reach that point, there will be to late to change anything.
So, why bother for, instead trying to build a better life ? Why loose time trying to convince others of something you can not prove, instead of taking people and get to learn together to be kind, happy, tolerant and build nice memories ?

My 2 cents.

well its a tough question.i think you need to die for answering this question.but to some extent i believe in life after death.i believe that our near and dear who are no longer in this world are still around us, watching us and taking care of us in an indirect way.
