What has changed your life?

Just wondering. For myself it would have to be my girlfriend. She has prevented/helped me with so much stuff and I never know how to repay her! She is so wacky and weird it's cute. Plus she plays ps so I get a bit competitive with her then we end up play fighting and that shit leads to other shit. LMFAO. ANYWAY!
Tell me about yourself...I want to get to know you guys and all that shit!

Almost dying. Had a rare and very bad case of intralobular lung sequestration.
Basically I had an a second blood circulation in my lungs that's not supposed to be there. An aorta sized artery branched off at the top of my actual aorta and flowee through a smaller bunch of arteries throughout the lower half of my right lung.
Because the malicious artery was so gigantic the much smaller blood vessels in the lung couldn't handle the large pressure of the incoming blood.
A few blood vessels in my lung tore and bled straifght into my lungs.
Doctors thought I had pneumonia first because I was only coughing up huge blood clots but felt fine otherwise. They found the defect on a ct-scan with contrast fluid. They said I was very lucky that it was only a relatively small tear. If the tear was any bigger the huge artery would cause death by internal hemorrhage in minutes.
I had to consult the best lung surgeon in the country but he was out of the country for 3 days. During those 3 days there was also the chance of the tear increasing and needing immediate emergency surgery. The surgeon also told me that my defect was so complex and the malicious artery so big that it would be a very risky surgery.
The surgery took 4 hours and they had to remove half of my right lung.
My life hasn't been the same since.

The Navy changed my life. It made me much, much more depressed and unhappy.

Life. Life changed me. Knowing that I'm living is probably the best motivation I've ever received from myself.

Something that has completely changed my life would be getting arrested and being sentenced to 1 year of probation.. I am completely rehabilitated.
