What I think should happen in schools.

That's good to hear, you are in area where it's more likely to happen than anywhere else of course. They need to make it mandatory to put in one in every district.

Basically have the officer be more armed then, makes sense assuming he won't just have a pistol, but probably more of an assault weapon of some sort. Although if he is right near the school he could be the first to go, I always thought he should be ready in his office further away for protection, rather than being outside or something.

Well I believe that teachers should just be armed, or a security team on backup incase of anything, but that would take a while, a gun, like a 9mm would be good, and in this case, would have probably saved the peoples lives.

And a few heavy weaponary in a safe somewhere else.

I wouldn't trust any teacher with a firearm. Teachers probably have the one of the worst jobs, low pay and having to put up with kids that try to piss off the teacher. I can imagine a teacher just in the spur of the moment full of rage hurting a kid. Teachers aren't immune to psychotic breaks.

I don't understand, where in my thread does it say the teachers will have a gun? You're like the third person to say that. All I'm stating is there should be a pretty well armed policeman, if not for that bulletproof glass downstairs at least.

I wasn't quoting you. I was quoting Justice Jr.
