What if the Nazis hadn't hated the Jews?

I've reading Schindler's List recently and it got me thinking, what would have happened if there had been no anti Semitism in Nazi Germany? The persecution, collection and murder of millions of Jews took up considerable resources - what if these resources had instead been chanelled into the main war effort. Instead of persecuting them, the Nazis could have consripted those Jews into the Wehrmacht.

I think this passage from the book sums up the impact anti Semitism had on the war effort:

Any thoughts?

Hmmm, they could indeed have used those resources. Hell, just waiting to kill the Jews later, after the war, would have helped them. Thanks though for reminding me to read Schindler's List, I've only seen the movie.

No, I believe the US entered WW2 because of Pearl Harbor am I right? So Nazi's not killing Jews wouldn't have changed America's decision to enter the war.

Moron, the States entered WW2 after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour. AND war would have STILL broken out because WW2 started when Germany attacked Poland, it had NOTHING to do with the Jews.

Then the Nazis wouldn't have rose to power. The whole basis of the Nazi Party was the dwelling up of hate against the Jews and the superiority of the Aryan.

Can you guys please watch the language. This isn't a pissing contest.

@OP - The war didn't start only because of the Jews. Germany entered the war to regain land that they lost to Poland.

If the prejudice against the Jewish wasn't present, the world would be different. Marx wouldn't have published some of his works, the Germans might have made it farther in the war, Hitler could be considered a German hero and not a crime against humanity, we would not have Holocaust museums, there would be less Jewish people in the US, and I'm sure there's more.

There are a lot of "what if's" in almost every situation.

My facts are in fact not wrong. The US joined the war mainly predicated on the fact that the Japanese attack Pearl Harbour AND the war STARTED because Germany invaded Poland!

Yes but Germany and US were fighting a undeclared war because US was sending supplies to Britain, Germans were pissed and sank US ships thats what happened.

Indeed you are right, but they still would have joined the war if the Nazis didn't hate the Jews.
