Do you guys think microsoft will delete all the v1 GT's when the xbox one comes out ?
If they do will gamertags like Flower be worth like $50 ?
I don't know if they reset all the v1's i have a feeling like the market is gonna be 10x better. Hopefully this happens when the xbox one comes out
 
If they let you bring you accounts to the Xbox One and they delete the V1's they'll still be worth a shit ton.

Flower = $225 at least if reset.

since there will be so many tags wouldnt the price go down tremendously
 
Lets think logically here, Why would Microsoft release more accounts for us to sell ? They are doing banning waves and watching the gamer tag marker for a reason. They wan't to eventually stop sales of Xbox product because its against the Code of Conduct. They are slowly winning as each tag gets banned, I think its there is a 20% chance they will be released, that's just me. If no tags end up getting reset the prices once again will jump in value.
 
They won't, you will be able to download your profile onto the Xbox One just like the 360.
 
They won't. If anything all the 5 and 6 letter tags will be reset all at once just like how in 2011 all the 7 and 8 letter tags got reset. But when that happened all the original words or most of them got sold, so i doubt microsoft will ever reset a bunch of tags at once again like they did in 2011. And yes i know tags get reset everyday, but not like how they were in november of 2011.
 

But think about it though, If they don't, That's bad on their part. 1), There will be 2 generations of inactive accounts & 2), Aren't V1's supposed to be reset every 7 years, Well with the Xbox One, I'm pretty sure that's more than 7 years.

Highly doubt it'll happen. If it did it'd be funny though. The tags selling for $200 now would be worth close to nothing. Lol
 
If this happened, what would be the point in having an original gamertag? If all of the v1's were reset and tags like Flower are worth $50, then everyone that wants an OG/Semi OG will have one. There will be no point in having an Original Gamertag.

Their will always be a high demand because if you buy 5-10 gamertags like "Flower" for $50 then in 6 months you'd be able to sell each for 250$-300$ making you a 1000$-2500$ profit margin. Anyone who doesn't have the patience is stupid. not to mention all of the randoms who will randomly type in their gamertag at the right time and get a tag like "Flower" which believe me, happens a lot.
 
Well mate we can all hope that this will happen im sure that if this does happen many people will be ready for them

Because, if everyone has one then what is making it "original"?
EDIT: I'm not saying there is no point in having an OG tag right now, I'm saying if MS reset all of the v1's then everyone would have an OG tag.

The whole point in having an OG tag is not to come on here or HF & sell it. It's to have a cool "Original" one worded tag that actually makes sense instead of having something like xXSup3rm4nXx. At least IMO that is. If you could have either xXSup3rm4nXx or Flower, Obviously you'd want Flower since it looks nice, One worded, Makes sense.
 

I agree with that, but what I am saying is if EVERYONE gets an original tag, there would be no point in having one. Sure, a lot of people would still want one but I wouldn't pay to buy one if everyone has one. Most people buy an original gamertag to stand out from all of the other gamertags like xxsn1p3r1234 and shit like that.
 

Not really, it's just something cool to have, even if every single person on xbox had an "og" I would still want one, as said above the point is not to sell it.
