The greatest gift of God to mankind was Intellect. This makes him distinctly human. He is superior to the lower orders of creation.

Love is God's greatest gift to mankind. The creation and salvation was all because of God's great love to mankind. It is because of love too that He keeps on giving us all a chance to makeup for all the wrongs that we have done. Had it not for love, there will be no you and me, there will never be yesterday and today and He loves us so that He is willing to give us the future too.

i see a debate between love and mind going on here and actually before i had a look at responses i had that debate running in my mind.well for me both have equal importance and its tough to decide on any of the two.
when god created us he gave us a soul and i think receiving that soul was the greatest gift.

I agreed with that intellect is a greatest gits for mankind because not all creatures are gifted with the intellect that we had. Maybe, I will add that life is the greatest gift as well. I feel that God's greatest gift to mankind is the Holy Spirit present in every person. The Holy Spirit or conscience tells us what we ought to do. It also warns us not to do ignoble things in our life.
