What Laptop Should I get?

In search of a decent laptop, mainly going to be used for casual gaming, and school work. Really don't want to go past a $700 dollars for this. I can't see myself spending more than 700 on a laptop. Considering I just spent 2k on a desktop build.
I was looking at these two
1. http://www.amazon.com/Zenbook-UX305...ie=UTF8&qid=1430140945&sr=1-1&keywords=laptop
2. http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Essent...ie=UTF8&qid=1430140945&sr=1-3&keywords=laptop
Any opinions? Any laptop you would suggest over the other? Please, feel free to post here.

The first laptop is very nice, but for that price tag and those specs I'd recommend one of the new MacBooks.
It's $1249 at the cheapest I think, but you'll probably need to buy a USB-C adapter which will run you $80.

That's just my opinion though, I prefer Mac OS X to Windows.
Plus if you ever need to run Windows you can Bootcamp it, and if you need Linux you can dual boot or run Parallels.

Good luck on your search for a laptop!

If you're just looking for opinions on which of those 2 listed laptops than I recommend the first one because it has an SSD.

Thanks for the suggestion. I really don't see myself going past $700 dollars right now though... The options aren't very limited to those two I listed, just the ones I was looking at. Any other laptops will be considered.

Wait, I just noticed the Amazon links were to .ca, are you Canadian?
If you are Canadian than I take back my offer of getting one of the new MacBooks because they start around $1500 CDN.

I'll look around for some nice laptops for you :)

Edit: I don't think the links are actually .ca lmao I think it took me to the Canadian site instead, which it's never done. I'm confused now.

My apologies, it must have switched me over to the Canadian url because that's where I'm from.
Strange though, it's never done that before for me?
Maybe something new Amazon is doing, I have no clue. Sorry lmao, I'm not 100% awake yet.

I highly suggest the HP Touchsmart M7, 17" version. That is what I have and I love it!
