What makes you happy? Money, Power, Fame? I have seen a ton of surveys, surveying people on what makes them happy. I just wanted your guys input on this, what makes you happy? I have asked a bunch of IRL friends and they said being around friends and family makes them happy. What makes you personally, happy?

We are happiness, fulfillment and satisfaction in life comes when we are fulfilling the purpose for which we are created by the Creator. If a were had feelings, it would be unhappy you drive it down the bottom of the ocean. It was not created for that purpose. It's the same with human beings.

Power and love makes me happy.
But with Power comes all of the above : Fame, Money, Love, Family, etc...
so yeah

Happiness comes from spikes of dopamine release (and/or serotonin) nothing more nothing less.

I'm going to go into philosophical mode here, and say that human beings can only be happy,deep down happy, when we realize something bigger than ourselves. Happiness coming from without is only an illusion, that can change drastically in conjunction with circumstance. When we realize that we do not have to maintain total control over our own destiny, we can trust the higher power in our lives to deal with those things that we absolutely cannot deal with. Then we can be happy. In my case, that higher power is, and always has been, Jesus Christ.

I've been seeking the answer to this question for a while but I've figured that I enjoy everything and anything.
Honestly I can say at one point I hated everything but I find the beauty in everything now and I can say with a smile that's what makes me happy.

It's hard to say what makes us happy, and even if we know when we have achieved the happiness that we were looking for. Many people, once they get something, always want more. What makes me happy is music and positivity. I find that if i think positively, I seam to be much happier than if I have a negative outlook on situations that arise in life. The reason as to why this is, is obvious. And I find that no matter what mood I'm in, I can always find a song to fit my mood, and in turn, lift it

Happiness is a choice; everyday we face so many circumstances in life - most of these incline to letting people down and make him drown in pessimism. The happiest and most powerful people are the ones able to submit himself to the Supreme Being, who lays in store a happiness that no one can take away from him. That is the only way to achieve eternal happiness.

I think it really depends on the person, some people are materialistic and others are joyful by just waking up to a new day.
