what programs do u use to make logo

i use something on the interwebz thats like paint, its gucci
 
I'd use Cinema 4d to create the text and Photoshop to refine it. If I'm feeling adventurous/need to take it to the next level, I'll refine it even further in adobe after effects by animating it.

You can also use sites found by Googling "3d text maker".

E.g. found this just now, http://www.flamingtext.com/logo/Design-Standing-3D

Probably simpler and easier for you unless you want something specific.

yeah, flaming text sucks ass dude. but its a quick thing for you if you wanna cop a nice 3d logo

No, Cinema 4d is not your best bet. Make it with illustrator, and then you can export it to cinema 4d and make it 3d from there. Most of the time you want to start out with a 2d logo.
 
I usually make my logos in Photoshop, but when I'm feeling a little bit more artsy for a different style I use illustrator.
