What sort of prizes would you want?

I think you could use these few as prizes.
-Access to another section of the forum by gaining whatever amount of points.
-Getting a award that can be purchased for like 1,000 points.
-Getting different user bars that can be purchased.
-And i would be willing to donate a few ipod accessories that can be given out as prizes. (i have some brand new)

No award's should not be purchased it should be earned, so scratch that one out.

No no no, I mean like once you earn 1,000 points you can use that as money and it would buy whatever prizes there was.

Thats the main use for this.
erm, I'm considering adding an achievement for having so many points. Might be interesting.

I think New Points is the best plugin ever made.

I don't know about prices, but maybe you could have Premium members earning at a slightly higher rate. Maybe 1.2, or 1.3.

Access the New Points menu, in ACP, then fo to Group Rules, and add a rule for Premium, in which you can state their earning rate.

Good luck with the application mate.

That's 3.6k points a day without posting. If you ever offer cash prices you'd run poor.


It apprears as I need to have it set as my display group to get the points.

Test post, I'll delete it right away.

Nvm, but I'll leave it for the lols of my epic failure.

I lol'd Zammy. No I think it's every 60 seconds you're online if I'm correct. I'll leave it as a test and see your points tomorrow. All points will be reset when the competition is officially launched tomorrow anyway.

Take username colors off. Thats special for what rank you are. That just defeats the point man.

I believe it would be set rules, like maybe, you can't pick any color that's being used by a specific usergroup.

I guess that could work or just a set color that you can buy. Maybe like cyan for example? So we know that they bought that username color.
