The best think I think you could do is by taking out the battery and just make it as dry as possible with a towel and let it dry four a day or so. Then try to turn it on, if it don't work you have to buy a new one I think.
the best thing you can do is remove the battery let it dry and then in a small container put some rice grains(not cook).
place your cellphone in a container with rice be sure to cover the cellphone, cover in a minute,,,the rice grains is the one who absorb the excess water from your cellphone.
Yes it's best to remove the battery immediately and wipe dry the cellphone and if possible blow dry it. Leave it for several days to make sure it's completely dried up. If it works after turning it on then you're at luck but if it does not, there is no other way but have it checked by an experienced technician.
if you have a room/cubad that is warm very warm all the time just take the battery out and leav it in there for a cupple days try it and if not take it to a phone shop but should work i droped myn when i fell in the river and did that and it still works fine
Ok if it has fallen in the tub then, i suggest you to take of the battrey first and never ever put it back in that mobile until you feel that the mobile is completely dried up. You can just put in sun for some time but don't expose for long tym. I suggest u not to insert the battery because that creates short circuit in your mobiles board which damages the mobile.

I think it would work, as rice is excellent to wipe out the remanants of water and vapors if at all they are present after drying with a dryer. I read this remedy in some paper and forgot it, I hope it works fine and the mobile is functional yet another time.

see ever so hard one might try, mobile with all the unit is not so dry, batter removed yet there is so much of water and humidity which doesnt allow it to be active again. It needs to be completely dry to regenerate work station.
Hey actually i did drop my mobile in the washbasin once.
I was talking on the phone whilst doing the dishes, but then suddenly I dropped it in the washbasin full of water. I was so worried I got it out of there asap and opened it. I mean took the batteries, the memory card, sim card everything and wiped it dry. I let it stay for sometime and turned it on. I was so relieved to know that it still worked perfectly fine
Anyway the thing you have to do is take out everything I did and wipe them dry and let it be there for sometimes. i hope you are as lucky as i was. Good luck.
i think if your mobile fell down you should take up your battery and put in low sunshine at evening time definately it will get repair other wise use your hair dryer it is the best
They are all correct,i think it is best to remove the battery, and dry the phone using a blower or dryer or using fan.and do not turn on the phone when it is not completely dry. If it still not working, much better to bring it to a phone technician.
