When people ask how old you are, do you lie?

I really don't know why sometimes if i asked some people about their age,their answer is only smile and secret!maybe they are ashamed?
When people ask how old you are, do you lie?
 
Depends on who it is, I generally prefer not to tell my real age on the internet or somebody that I don't really like.

hi good day arnelia for me if someone asked my age well, i will tell them my real age .i think there's no reason to be ashamed for telling the truth of my real age.
 
I do not have that problem yet as I am still young. But when the time comes, I don't think I will hide my real age. What's wrong with being old, in the first place?
 
I don't lie to people because I am still young. But i guess, if I get older, this is not even a problem. I couldn't get anything by lying of my age.
 
NO, I do not lie. I always say the right age and also my birth year if necessary.
However I do not understand why some people lie for their age,

That is because they wanted to feel young. Also, they would feel old if they tell people their right age.
 
I don't know the reason why would some people will hide their real age when there's no need to. I never hide my real age, I'm not ashamed if I'm getting older. It's not about the number it's about how you look and I look like 17 even though I'm 23.

If they face is look younger than their age is no problem BUT if they age is younger but their looks is older that is the reason maybe that's why they telling lie,they afraid to hurt them selves lol.

I see no reason why I should lie about my age. The main reason is I look and act my age. So even if I'll lie about it, all I see are frowns from those who ask. So it's more embarrassing since It'll give the impression that I'm lying. So better be honest since I see no reason why I should lie about my age. Seriously, those who do seems to be living in a lie, pretending to be something they're not and haven't yet full grasped their mortality.
 
If I will be ask by anyone, I would rather tell the truth than to lie and hide my age. Even if you do, it doesn't change anything. You are still you. It is very nice if you tell them straight, anyhow, it will depend on your face anyway if you can be still considered young looking hahaha.. =)
 
I don't lie about my age. As of now, that I am within the calendar. Maybe as I get older, I could do that "secret" as well. lol
 
I never hide my original age from any one. i always post my original date anywhere on net. I don't understand why people hide their original age.
 
Nope iw on't lie when it comes to my age because i am proud of my self and age doesnt affect my well being so i don't lie at all.
 
well i don't lie. i'm already 33 now, hehe.. my golden age maybe. maybe you ask to a girl,usually woman that try to hide her age. don't know why. maybe they want to stay young and attractive forever.
 
I never lie about my age. Although I believe that we should be discreet in asking about people's age, I just tell them the truth. I have no hangups with regards my being a little bit older than most of my friends. It doesn't matter whether I am old or young. The important thing is that we do things right.
 
i think it doesn't matter to a person or to someone if they tell or not to tell what their age... since we are working online we have to be very careful on the information that we give..
 
sometimes i lie specially if the one asking is stranger or i don't trust i rather lie than to tell them my real age. but if it is my friend or let say the people that is not stranger i tell them the truth.
 
Nope. I don't lie. I just don't answer or avoid the question. Hehehe. But most of the times people try to guess my age and they think I'm younger. Lol. I love it that way.
 
I'm one of those lucky ones who look younger than my age and yet I never lied about it. When people ask me how old am I, I tell them the truth and they will look shocked because I don't look my age. I believe that people should be proud of their age because it shows how long they've been battling with life and it's a proof that they have succeeded over and over again with its challenges. "Age gracefully and maturely", that's my mantra.
