Which do you prefer to use â€“ touch screen or keypad?

Almost all of the people have their own touch screens on their hands in which they use it as their cellphones. However, phones that have keypads on them are not yet that obsolete. Some of the people are used to using these gadgets and they love it more than touch screens. Anyway, I also prefer to use phones with keypads because touch screens can be very much sensitive and can obtain damages quickly. evil:evil:

i also prefer keyboard. Yup you are right touch screen damaged easily and this is also slow speed rather then keypad. I like to work on keypads.

I prefer Keypad. It's really hard for me to tap the screen since it has no texture. It will be hardwork for my thumb. That's why im sticking to keypad cellphone...

i prefer touch screen, i have one for over a year now, what i love about it is that my thumb doesn't get hurt or numb even i text all day unlike keypad phone. and of course it's very trendy.

depends on how you use the gadget. but i'd like to have a touch screen gadgets, they're a easier to use for me.... but it still depends on so many comparisons for me.

The Touchscreen generally is convenient and is nice,
but for texting , using a phone with qwerty keypad is the best. From my experience texting with a qwerty phone is better than touchscreen mainly because texting with qwerty is generally fast all you need is your 2 thumbs and type type type.

I prefer a touchscreen, the main advantage of having a touch screen phone is cosmetic. It is a great accessory to have and to be seen using. Touch screen mobiles can be small and slim and there are no bumps and bits, its all very sleek and smooth. Another pro is that a bigger screen fits in well with the multi-media functions on the latest mobiles. Watching video clips, whole films or TV programmes and looking at photographs is much better on the larger screen that covers the full area of the mobile. No space has to be wasted for the keypad.
For music, photographs and videos, you hardly need buttons and you only need camera buttons when you take a picture. It makes sense for these to appear on the screen, rather than to stick out all over the phone.

For texting and emailing, the touch screen does have some disadvantages (see later) but one of the good things is their flexibility. If you are used to typing on a keyboard, you can set the touch screen 'keypad' to be in the traditional QWERTY format but, if like me, you prefer to have the letters in ABD order, you can. Its just a matter of setting up the preferences.

If it's for texting, i prefer keypad because it's easy to use and i can type quickly and i'm used to using it. But if it's for mobile internet i prefer touchscreen. It's more convenient to browse using touchscreen because you don't need to be pressing down key to scroll. Your thumb won't get too tired.

I prefer using keypads because I could save time and its rather convenient and comfortable for me using keypads. When I use touch screen, I am usually feeling tired on my phalanges. It's time consuming. I am not used to it.

Actually if we see touch screen looks very cool and its a fun to use touch screen mobile but as for as typing i think touch screen is not reliable because it takes little more time then a keyboard..
i am using keypad mobile as i have to text my friends and touchscreen mobile is very hard for me to use

I prefer keypad because I text a lot and it makes typing easier but if you use your cp for inet & call, touch is just ok

I prefer keypad, cos I can easily type a word fast and conveniently. When I'm using a touch screen cellphone, my speed in typing is just like a speed of a turtle.

I love touch screen phones and gadgets rather than keypad. Even I have a touch screen pc. Its very nice. I have always used a touch pc and cell. My pc is dell aio and cell is samsung galaxy s2

touch screen are delicate gadget and they get rotten quickly.how much ever am careful with my cell phones,i keep on dropping them every now and then,and touch screen if dropped once,its gone.so i stick to the keypad cell phones.:Tounge:

I prefer the phones with key pads as I feel easy to type my SMS on this phone1 In the touch screen phones often I end up with messing up the SMS as I have got thick fingers and the tips are not so sensitive any more because of age factor! More over touching the screen every time makes the screen dirty and oily which I don't like! Thanks !

As of now I love touch screens. I used to love keypads when it was a "thing" before but now since it's the touch screen time, I love touch screen.
I have been using touch screen for a long time now and the last time I tried to use my aunt's touchpad keys, I was surprised that I found it a bit difficult to use :Ohhhh:

I kinda like using a keypad. It's a lot easier to type on and it's way more responsive compared to the touch screens.

I would love to own a touch screen phone but I have no idea how long it's gonna last for me. I am used to putting my cellphone inside my pocket when I go out and I doubt the touch screen would stand my rugged lifestyle. So for now I will just enjoy the toughness of my current cellphone and think about using the touch screen maybe when almost everyone is using it just to be not so left behind.

Touchscreen. It's less 'bulkier' and it's so... cool, lol.

I personally have an iPod Touch and I love it. I try using my dad's Blackberry's keypad once, and I didn't like it.
