Which one do you prefer rural living or urban living?

I grew up in the rural area. Although the place is not really that remote, but still it's far from the city and I get to enjoy the simple life the place has to offer. Every morning, I was served with a bread with cottage cheese filling, fresh carabao's milk and a selection of season fruit, usually banana. When I studied college, I had to move to our house in the city. Things are far different here. The whole day, my ears were bombarded with lots of noise from the vehicles, factories and loud music from neighbors. I miss the days when I could just look out of the window and watch the birds as they chirp while perched on the tree twig. Although once in a while we still come home to the town, I still miss the simplicity of life there.

How about you? In which place do you prefer to live, the urban? Or the rural.

It's good that you are living happily. We all do I guess, but my point is that I just missed the fresh products from the farm. Fresh means freshly harvested served straight to the dining table. Unlike here in the city where meats and vegetables are preserved in the refrigerator. Life in the city isn't miserable though since we get to enjoy the latest in trends, whether electronics and all that stuffs, but i guess I'm getting dizzy with all the fast phase of life here that I want to go back to nature and ease a little bit.

I am a Stud Farm Vet! So live in rural area with all urban facilities as we need to have our farms situated away from the urban crowds! Now having lived more than 20 years like this it is difficult for me to get adjusted myself in the busy urban area which is full of all sorts of pollution! Here I enjoy my peaceful life which is very closed to the mother nature! Thanks !

The fact is that to live in rural are is better than living in urban cities. The reason is that in the cities we find lot of pollution these days. The air is polluted. On the other hand, in the villages we are able to breathe pure air. Rural life has several health benefits denied to living in the cities.

I like both.
I can adjust easily wherever I lived or visit a place.
I like the serenity and peace of rural areas as I also like the busy life or urban living.
I want to spend vacation in rural areas since I am living here in the city and life is so stressful and always on the go.
