Why are Apple products so expensive?

I was going through the price difference between the products from Apple and Microsoft.

Amazingly a computer that could cost you 20,000 rupees on Microsoft, it would cost you 100,000 rupees if you buy the same product from Mac. As far as the quality is concerned there is no much difference.

So the question is why are these products from Apple so expensive when their is not so much different from that of Microsoft's?

Be descriptive as much as possible because I'm going to discuss about the same topic with my roommates.

Mainly its because they can charge that much and people will still buy it. The people who want a laptop that looks/feels nice are their target consumers and with this approach they've been doing really well - so no need to change.

It's not expensive. If you ever tried out a MacBook you'd say to your self it's really worth it. I have a MacBook of my own and I thought it was expensive but when I purchased one for myself I realized why it was so expensive. It has tooons of things that you want in a laptop. I just love all the apple products.

I think you're talking about the software that is preinstalled in a Mac book. But if you purchased the software online separately without having to have it in a MacBook, the total cost could be much lesser than what they charge for a complete package. This is what I'm talking about. I mean the stuff that you could get online for a comparatively lesser prize, Apple charges you too much money for that product.

Lol because the chips and other softwares that are installed in Iphone is very costly thats y thier products are costly

i think they are using very high quality materials to there product and they are having there brand name also so it is costly

Yes you're right friend, It's really nice to have an apple macbook because it does so many things when it comes to application.
In regards with the thread, Apple products are expensive for the reason that it has more capability in terms of software compatility and security.
Even though they have features but then in the software side they have differences.

That is the one problem with all the great Apple products out there. It's just because of the name, and people are spending that much on it.

Here's why.

You can't go, "Oh, this Macbook from Apple is really expensive. I am going to go buy a cheaper Macbook at Pear."

Basically, no other company makes the same products as Apple. I mean, Asus, HP, Acer, Toshiba, and all those laptops are basically the same thing, while Macbooks are COMPLETELY different.

Same goes with iPads. Other tablets are all same and boring, but iPads have access to the App Store and other cool Apple things.

So you end up buying the expensive stuff from Apple because you can buy it no where else.

They are expensive because they are good . Man you can't always look at the price of things , you know here we have a saying like this : If you don't know what is good you know what is expensive . So i hope you helped ,

For me, it's the brand. Apple has evolve from just an ordinary gadget to a fashion statement. If we take a look at the specs of some of apples product compared to other brands, it's very clear that they're almost the same if not, the other brand may even offer more. When it comes to value, the other brands simply offers more for less. The only difference is that apple is a trendsetter, it knows how to introduce a new product at the right time to an extent where it's patrons are willing to pay more just to get a hold of the latest products. To these people it's not really about the product itself but the prestige that goes with it. The admiring looks they get from their peers when they see a friend with an apple product because it's already in our mindset that apples products don't come cheap. If you're not cheap it means you're well off.

If it tried the MacBook had to say to yourself that you and I and I have a MacBook for myself it is thought more expensive, but it is my reason was very expensive to have when you purchase one for myself, I realized it was really expensive and not worth a ton of things you do not want a laptop. I just love all the Apple products.

If you want quality product, you need to buy it more expensive. Quality goes directly with the price. Apple products are proven good quality and this is why they are expensive. Plus, if you have apple, there are no virus that can infect your MAC, not like IBM base PCs, virus are too many to handle.
