Why are people so quick to trust others?

Seriously I shake my head when I see scam reports because the person who scammed them had like 200 rep so therefore they are trusted right?
Also same with some vouches, people will vouch on people because they bought a netflix or minecraft account from them, that's why some people have tons of vouches but have never dealt with something over 100$.

Something else is the amount of newer members who will dick ride just about anyone so they can get rep, rep is pretty much meaningless if it's  just composed of rep4rep without any rep mentioning deals the user has done.

For the most part, getting scammed for $100 or whatever isn't the end of the world. If someone wants to get banned over that small of an amount they have much worse problems
