its because if they wanted a a pussy guy they would just get a girlfriend they date douchebags because they want a challenge not that free shit look in a guys perspective no guy wants to date the town hoe they wanna work for something

The douchebag phase is usually just that. As girls become women they value nice guy traits more and more.

Maybe when they're young they have daddy issues and want someone to be in control, maybe they low self-esteem and feel like they deserve to be treated badly, maybe whatever, the point is: as we mature, we leave douchebags in the dust.
