Why do you like shopping?

For those people who like to go shopping, is it healing for you? I mean what do you feel that shopping does for you is it the fact that you are able to shop when you want to shop is it the fact that it feels good to buy yourself something nice and new I mean what does shopping do, because I know that some people go shopping and get addicted to it, its like a drug that they can't stop taking, shop,shop,shop that's what they like to do. What os your favorite thing you like to shop for who is addicted to shoes? or maybe clothing, what is it that you are addicted to when you shop, do you like shopping in the mall or do you shop online?

I like to buy electronic products. But, especially, I hate shopping with a woman.

The only shopping that I like to do is yard sales and flea markets. I like to collect stuff and they are the best places to find stuff that you can't find in the store.

I like shopping because it's a way of life. Yes we feel good shopping because, we have this feeling that our needs will be filled. Like the need to have clothes, shoes and all the stuffs. I don't think it's the healing thing. I actually get tired when shopping but we need to see what's new around us so we got to get out and shop.

I like shopping no difference in anything,clothing,electronics furniture and toys..Most of the weekends I do shopping...

It's fun to go shopping and buy things that fancy you. Just don't get shopaholic or addicted to shopping meaning you buy whatever you think you like. Me, I only buy things that I really need. Maybe because I don't have that much money to spend with anyway. I just want to be practical and not waste money on useless things.

SHopping is not healing for me. I like shopping because i get th things i need. When i goto shop i buy what i want but mainly what i need. THey might be expensive but there what i need. Good question

A couple of years ago, I used to find this odd sense of calmness after shopping and started overdoing it. Then a magazine article said these are signs of being a shopaholic. I took to the advice given and started finding the same sense of calmness in other activities. Shopaholic post recovery, ladies and gentlemen.

I like shopping because I love to get new stuff. For me, it's not really healing or anything. I just love to shop and get new clothes, shoes, or other things every once in a while

I shop because it's one of my chores as a mother and wife. I shop for necessities like foods and clothing and materials for home keeping. I shop regularly at the malls and super markets and sometimes online. I really enjoy as it is the time for me to get away from other chores and work and it is my way of getting rid of stress. When I think and know that I have everything that's needed in the home and sometimes in my work of place, I am more at peace.

i shop only when its necessary and if there is something short in the house.i have no extra money to enjoy going shopping around all day and purchasing all unnecessary things.i shop wisely and only for need and i feel satisfied when i get to shop all that i need.

I like shopping because it is a stress reliever for me. When I'm in a mall and I see all these beautiful clothes, shoes, bags, and cosmetics, I feel happy and positive. Even if I dont have money to buy those things, window shopping is still therapeutic for me. And I quote from the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic on why Rebecca Bloomwood shops, she said "Because the world gets better. The world is better. And then it's not anymore. So I have to do it again." But no, Im not a shopaholic.
