Why is it everyone hates on the new people? I was looking around and it seems like if you are a new member you get treated poorly when trying to make a point or buy a Gamertag?

(I'm not trying to receive hate for this.)

Depends on what you mean by buy a Gamertag.
What payment method are you using ? Rarely will you find someone that's been on site for a while that will take Paypal as a payment option from a new user. The way we see it as you are new so you have nothing to risk etc banned for scamming / Charge backs.
If you are really trying to get a Gamertag invest in a Moneypak and be sure to use a trusted MM.

No but what I mean is that they won't tell you their tags because you're a new member..
