Well, I have a bigger Dunner/Lunch then my breakfeast but the Breakfeast you're eating should be healthy, because it gets you through the day. It's starts your day, and it makes you have enough energy to last throughout the day.
Morning meal is important since you are doing things to be started in morning, like schoolworks or officeworks at 9 A.M. onwards. So if you haven't taken your morning meal well it usually affect your performance where in your energy lacks for that job until you take your lunch.

It is very important to eat a meal during the day or in the morning because we are bound to do activities for the rest of the day. Besides, that is why we call it breakfast because we are breaking the fast for the entire night of sleeping. Our body is using calories and energy even if we are sleeping that is why we need to eat in the morning to replenish the lost energy and to become active for the rest of the day.
Some say that breakfast is very important because we have to work more in a day.
But for some alternative doctor it is not good to eat meal early in the morning.
They say we should eat meal only at 10am and not too much,but fruits will do and then take a good meal for lunch and less food for supper.

You're in a catabolic state because you haven't had food in 8-10 hours, and you need something to give you energy and start you metabolism when you get up. It's top2 in most important meals (post workout is no. 1 or 2) and it should be your biggest of the day.
Without taking breakfast we cant stay till noon to wait for food as after supper we sleep in the night and our body start functioning again and use up all the resources and so in the morning its imp to have breakfast.
I think possibly because we are keeping starved our selves more than eight hours at a length during our sleep, the stomach is getting empty and early in the morning having attended the natural calls our system also gets empty and is ready to have fresh and new inputs in the form of food to generate new energy required for the day together with the energy required by the body in managing and maintenance of worn out parts!
