Why is this happening to @Ride?

So I was looking at this thread HERE.

I saw that it said Ride was banned because when @Seven tagged him it had a slash through his name, like this: @Ride

I clicked on his named because I had just seen him post and it didn't say he was banned...

He isn't banned so why does his username have a slash through it like he's banned?

Sorry, for tagging you two @Ride and @Seven, just wanted to see what is going on.

He was recently banned and the server hasn't had a chance to catch up, is my guess. Like if you change groups your name color if you're tagged isn't always the same, it'll lag on the old color for a while. @Miles

I was recently banned but obviously it's refreshed now, as of a couple days ago I had a slash through my name and it went away eventually.

Takes a while for the system to update when someone is banned and unbanned.

What this user said. The server has to refresh and then it will update his name.

I see now, thanks to everyone for clearing things up.
