why tell us a format to sell OUR stuff?

all admins on this site make you follow one format for one function. I find this stupid. They tell you how to sell your own account or items. Why can't we sell our items the way we want to? if you don't trust the person selling the account actually has the account DON'T BUY IT. The site should not tell me how to sell my items or accounts. end of story. I should be able to sell my accounts or items the way I choose not the way some admin tells me to.

We tell users to use the form because IT makes things cleaner and Look proper

IF it wasn't there most new users like your self would post selling something and it be all in a jumble

It is there to make things more neat so Please just use it

When selling an account its important for people to see all of the pages like skills, login, ban pillars, etc. to prevent any potential confusion which could lead to scam reports. And the gold selling format is so its easy to know what your buying/selling, for what price, what your paying with, and if your using a MM.

I don't see anything wrong with it, all it is doing is helping the community.

The formats are suggested to use so

1) It's clear what you are selling
2) We have a bit of proof
3) We know what is going on.

It's not a rule. It's suggested. Also, I thought TE trashed those threads a while ago.

First one is a guide, second one has been trashed. There is no suggested way to buy things, a guide is as is, it's a GUIDE.

It keeps things orderly and formatted nicely. Say a user wants to find something they'd like to know about your sale. They don't want to have to search through what could be a long post just to find their info, well at least I don't. Using a rough format provides orderly, and easily found information. I wouldn't think you would have to follow the guidelines 100% down to words and what not. Dykerosoft's format in that thread above basically just tells you the basics of what is needed. If you don't list a price, provide pictures, and don't have details on how the sale will be carried out, then it will just make it that much harder for you to sell what you are selling.

The way the staff wants us to do it is much better than a wall of text with pictures flying all over the place.
