China announced " in unequivocal terms that any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China"
Which is directed towards the USA possibly invading Pakistan after finding Osama right near a major military encampment.

So do you think China would follow through with this threat and see the USA attacking Pakistan as a direct attack on them? Do you believe they would be willing to retaliate against the US or even go as far as to declare war or attack the USA?

I personally think it was purely political and they wouldn't retaliate if for some reason we do attack Pakistan. China is smarter than to attack the US first if they do decide to retaliate.

Nope countries like to talk a lot. But China would never directly harm the USA. And right now China is still behind the USA in economy and military.

Economically yes but their is some tension between China and USA, they mostly don't like our involvement in the middle east.

Well if China attacks US first we will have all of NATO on our side, which wouldn't even be a competition. If not a lot of NATO probably won't join and it would be a lot closer

I think in a war like that true colors would be exposed. If they did become involved they would side with the USA. I can't believe we're allowing a country like China to become so big and powerful.

There really isn't anything they can directly do to use short of declaring war. If they post embargoes China and USA would be fucked economically, because we are going to counter it with our own embargoes.

As well as the UK and other allies of the US.

Us still has more than 5x their military budget, so im not worried about their military

China will surpass the USA 's economy pretty soon. Therefore military shall follow eventually.
