Requirements:

* Boots of Lightness

* Crystal Saw - Not needed trough.
All Locations:
* Behind Lumbridge, but only if you chose to firemake.
* Draynor Village, near a bank & there is all kind of trees.
* Grand Exchange, near a bank & there is both yews & regular trees.
* Edgevillage, near a bank & a good spot for yews.
P2P Locations:
* Seer's Village, good spot for maple trees & yew trees and pretty close to a bank.
* Tree Gnome Stronghold, there is close to a bank and there is both Magic Trees & Yew trees.
* Barbarian Assault, best spot for Willows in Runescape.
* Catherby, YEWS?!?!
So lets start.
1 - 21
Yes, 1 - 21, not 1 - 15.
Why?
Because if you start chopping down Oak Trees at level 15, it is very slow. But a normal tree at lvl 15 goes very quick.
The difference:
Normal Trees 1 - 21: 201 needed, this take about 10 - 15 minutes.
Normal trees 1 - 15: 97 needed, this will take about 5 - 7½ minutes.
Oak trees: 15 - 21: 70 trees needed, this will take about 7½ - 10 minutes.
If you counted normal trees are quicker, which will go a lot quicker at level 21.
So, cut down regular trees
I recommend you cutting these close to Draynor Village in the Lumbridge Woods or in front of The Grand Exchange.
21 - 35
Now we can start doing Oaks. If you started from 0 xp, you should have exactly 5025 xp.
To 35 we need to cut 464 Oak Trees.
(When I say Oak Trees I mean that you need to obtain 464 Oak logs by wood cutting).
I recommend you to do this at Draynor Village as it is the best spot, there is also some Oak Trees in front of Grand Exchange but it is closer to a bank from the Draynor trees.
Way 1. 35 - 99 - F2P Quick
If you are F2P and want the quickest way, there is no doubt about it, do Willows.
The best spot for these are definitely Draynor Village.
Way 2. 35 - 70 - F2P Earn method
Do willows until you hit 70. This will only require you to get 10596 logs. This can be done in less than a day.
Way 2. 70 - 99 - F2P Earn method
Head to the Grand Exchange, go east. There you will see a bunch of yew trees. Cut them until you hit 99. This will take a long time but you will get 70268 Yew logs, which is worth 37312308 gp, which is 37M.
Way 3. 35 - 50 - P2P Quick
First thing we want to do is head to Barbarian Assault. Walk out. Outside there is a bunch of Willow Trees, chop them. You will only need 1170 logs to reach this goal.
Way 3. 50 - 80 - P2P Quick
Buy a Camelot Teleport tab or use the teleportation spell to teleport to Camelot.
Once you are there, walk northwest. There should be some Maple Trees behind the bank. Cut them till you get 80. You will need 18848 logs. This can be done in less than a day.
Way 3. 80 - 99 - P2P Quick
I suggest you to complete the quest The Eyes of Glouphrie. When you done that you will obtain Crystal Saw. I will not go in detail how to use Sawmill, it's pretty much self explaining.
You can always google it.
Way 3. 35 - 65 - P2P Earn Method
Obtain 6327 willow logs, do this at Barbarian Assault.
I don't think I have to bring that back up again.
Way 3. 65 - 80 - P2P Earn Method
Now as you are P2P, you can use the Dragon Hatchet, which will help you obtaining logs quicker therefore we can begin with Yews a little bit earlier.
I recommend you to getting to Camelot. When you see the Camelot Castle gate walk south, till you get to Catherby. Now walk a little bit east. There you will see a bunch of people cutting down Yew Trees. Join them.
Way 3. 80 - 99 - P2P Earn Method
Get to The Gnome Stronghold somehow... When you are there, look for the Magic Tree, I cannot really explain this. Once you find it, chop it. There will be a bank nearby, where I recommend you to bank your Magic Logs.
