So, ive been playing this for about 3 days now. I saw my dealer playing it a few times when I went to get some bud, and it looked quite good.
So, after finding out its free to play, I figured, what the hell, il give it a go.
Its actually quite fun. I was expecting tanks rushing round everywhere, but its been really well designed.
There are 5 classes of tanks:
Light Tank: Fastest tanks in the game, used for scouting to "light" your enemies for your heavy weapons.
Medium Tank: Can be used for both scouting, and support. In some cases, the tank may support a large enough weapon to hang back with the Heavies.
Heavy Tank: Used either for holding back and giving covering/support fire, or can move with a pack of other medium or heavies to rush defence lines.
SPG: A big gun on wheels basiclly. This is the artillery of the game, you stay at the back and wait for enemies to "light" up for you to bombard.
Tank Destroyer: My personal favourite, and what I usually play as. There are several different types, but only 2/3 countries have these, with the US not. They are best for ambush situations, very good in defence when hiding in bushes. OR, you can accompany light tanks on a scout for support fire.
All the game types are the same, either kill all enemy tanks, or capture the enemy base. The matches are 15v15, and you are matched using a tank tier system so you never go up against tanks more than 1/2 tiers higher than you.
