I'm going off what @orc said about tagging groups. Some people had doubts but I wanted to pose a viable usage for it. For example it gets annoying on "pardon requests" and scam reports to tag all staff. So it could be as easy as @staff . Another viable usage is if staff posts an important update or newsletter they could tag @everyone and we will all get the memo. Communication is key, especially in a forum with such diverse demographic, and when an important message needs to be relayed it's imperative that everyone receives it. This would include but is not limited to community warnings and scam reports. I know personally I have missed many reports due to the time zone differences and what not.

The list goes on, and I'm sure that this is alot to think about. But I know it would be a worthwhile implementation in the near future. I know the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but they never said anything about evolving.

I know it is a good idea. You just need to see it work. How many times has there been a scam report on someone, then multiple subsequent ones ON THE EXACT SAME PERSON because they weren't properly warned. It will prevent this. And if you think that is a bad idea than maybe this isn't the place for you.

Mass tagging staff is not allowed. This suggestion is unnecessary.

Please. Crawl out of your shell. Look at any unban request or scam report and you will see a list of about 6 staff members tagged. Not only is it necessary, but convenient as well.

It's still not allowed, most banned members dont see the rule..

It's not fucking ignorant at all. This is probably the only good suggestion thats been made in a long time. Everyone on this site is so damn narrow minded, it literally never ceases to amaze me. Just because something is a rule doesn't mean it's set in stone. Rules can be changed, hence The Constitution.
