Would I be considered a "Run Away"?

If i leave my home this summer when i get out of school, my friend is picking me up, and i am going to go back to Michigan to move in with him and his sister (Who's HOT! ) but, would i be considered a Run Away in the state that i live in right now? (Washington) Could my mom or the police do anything about this? Thanks for the help.

Im 17. Turned 17 Last March.
 
Are you of legal age? If not i'm sure the police would do something about it. Also just make sure you not running away to to be with some hot girl.
 
They will come after you. Don't even try it. Why would you run away? CPS will come and find you, then take you back to your family or foster care.

If you don't tell her your leaving or where, you could be considered a missing person.

Well in that case, I am not sure. If you keep her updated and she is OK with it then you should be alright.
 
You have to be 18 to legally move out, unless you have your parents sign a form. Which I can't remember the name of it anymore. Either way you would be arrested, and brought back to your parents in Washington if caught.

I am pretty sure you have to be atleast 18.

Its not running away, its getting an early grasp on life, out side of the "Mothers Home"
 
Get emancipated, then you can do as you please. Your mother would have to sign it though. Maybe you should just ask if you can go, keeping her updated when she didn't want you to leave would just give the cops more information as to where to find you and they would take you back.
 
It depends on how long and yes you will be arrested since ur under 18 but if ur mom agrees with it then yea
