Would you allow your wife to help you earn a living?

I believe wives should be given full support when she wants to work so they can help in household finances. Nowadays, if we notice, even the financially well off are allowing their wives to help them with their business or jobs. It's good that couples should be partners in everything, in child care, in household matters, financial raising and everything. I commend husbands who give freedom of choice to their wives whether they are financially stable or even more if they are financially striving.

why not?wives should be given an equal opportunity if she really wants to work and have the capacity to manage both house and work properly.she is also a human and as others she also has some dreams of her own.is it right on the part of a husband to just ruin away his wife's dream?i think its husband's responsibility and duty to treat his wife at an equal level as he is.

I am wife and my husband is happy that I earn something even its online. You can't only allowed your wife to work if you are financially stable and your income is good enough to support all your family's need. Before, we had that perception that why must be only at home taking the children and that's right. But now that the world is crazy and all the goods and basic needs are increasing husband and wife needs to work and help each other to survive. So, talking about wife's working it is really depends upon the situation and the necessity of the events.

Here in belgium it's pretty normal and manditory that a wife makes a living to, so the husband doesent have to pay all of the bill's, witch in my opinion is normal.

Definitely I would allow my wife to earn also in order to save more for the future of the family and for the daily expenses and as well we can save for some luxuries we want to buy.

I think working of wife is not a good thing. but in the going situation its very hard to fulfill all expenses so if you are rich and can earn sufficient money for your family then you should not allow your wife to work. Other wise if you find hard to run your home with your earning then you may allow your wife to work

If my financial situation is too tight and i can't manage alone then , i will allow my wife to go for work .However if i can manage all by myself , i will never allow her to work because i want my wife to focus on my children so that they can be raised with better family support and give a good way to my children.

I don't have wife till now. But when the time come when i will marry i will must allow my wife to go out and earn money that's because of she can support me she will be not dependent and also will can be match up with the world and we will stay happy.

Your right, nowadays it's really practical if wives works too. In this global crisis that we face, a couple should think very practical in a sense that husband should allow their wives to work. It's not even bad if your wife works, I even think that a husband should be proud if he's having a working wife. Why? Simple, he can only prove that his wife really care about the family. It's not easy to be a working mom/ wife because your working and at the same time you do the household works. We are now facing different crisis and by allowing wives to work, you both can help in your family and in the society. I'm proud with those working wives. Cheers! ^^

I earn much from freelancing. I'm also studying on a good subject at our countries best university. So i can earn much in future and i will not need any help. But if my wife wants to work i would let her do and i'ld never touch her earnings

yes wives should be treated equal to their husband.if they too work then financial condition will be better.so if a woman wants to do a job then she should be boosted for that rather then compelling her to stay at home.

Because in this 21st century now it is so risky to send your wife for work.
because may be situation can create anything with your wife.

I belive that a woman should do what she can to support her husband financially, however I also believe that a woman should try to stay home as well so as to take care of the children and home while the husband is away. I guess you can say my ideals are more of the fifties housewife. I do believe a woman should have the choice to work though.

i am very much agree with you thread starter! husband should allow his wife to work for their family. they should partners in everything in raising their family. in that way, they can easily overcome financial challenges that comes in their lives. and it is good to see two people working hard to reach their dreams for their family.

One recession was bad enough for everyone to realize that higher the number of working hands in a family, better is their economic status. Since men and women are considered equal today, there is no reason why a woman shouldn't work if she wants to. However, if the husband wants the woman to work, he should also be willing to share domestic chores with her.

If risk is your concern, I think you are aware of the fact that everything in life is risky. Even a simple nonsense could grow up to be a big risk if you don't treat it with care. Trust is an important factor in a marriage. I don't really get what specific risk you are trying to say but anyway it is your opinion, and you are entitled to it.

if i am a man...i will allow also my wife to work.why???bec now we can provide more our nids than only one is working..i think it is not enough only if a man only have work..maybe yes..depends on the salary of the husband.
