So I Got Bored and carried away so I went to like the 300th Page On the Gamertag Section and people were selling amazing tags for like 50 bucks the highest and shit

For example Variables Got Sold For 5 bucks by Philly Incredible Now a days good tags are worth like so much money like 200 and shit.....

Wow The Market Has Changed...

What Happen??

People are selling less and less tags, so that makes the value of tags increase = Harder to find / locate one.
Plus new people to the GT scene are so desperate to purchase one they'll pay anything pretty much lol.

Everyone is holding onto there tags and a lot of the really OG tags got banned.

Everyone bought all the good tags so when a decent one comes around its worth more than it used to because people aren't selling anymore. If I would have held on to half the tags I had I would literally have like 25k. Instead I sold cheap, and only got probably 3k. Prices will drop when the next reset happens. (If it ever happens...)

This.
I think that a lot of the really good tags are either being held by people or are banned.

So getting your hands on really OG tags is becomming more and more expensive.

Hopefully there will be an influx of users selling OG tags and the pricing will drop once again.

That's what happens eventually. All of the original gamertags are sold by people who don't want them and then the buyer decides to keep the gamertag because he/she realizes it has value. Many people add their original gamertags to their main account, simply because they've obtained an original gamertag and don't see the significance in selling it. Now three character gamertags with no meaning are on the market for $30.00+.
