Xbox Slim or Regular Xbox

From what I've heard, I've seen no disadvantages that the normal Xbox has to the slim, besides smaller powerbrick and it's quieter. Nothing performance wise.

I think xbox slim, because its a smaller xbox to fit in smaller spaces, also it sounds better

i would say the xbox slim halo reach limited edtition, its epic my bro has it, and OMG its sooo coool, when you eject the disc it makes noises from halo reach

I did a test with an old xbox slim and an xbox arcade/pro whatever it was.

I through them on my bed to see which would red ring first.

The pro/arcade did.

I tried again, and the pro/arcade red ringed again.

I think Slims are better, because they don't red ring "as much..."

So my current xbox that i've had since 2007 got the "red rings of death" for the first time a few days ago. And I am looking to replace it. I am not a hardcore gamer, I don't have enough time to play more than maybe twice a week not including weekends. So is the new xbox slim worth the extra money or should I just get the old model?
