Second Guessing my thoughts, first impression is wow what a rip. As I look deeper into the heart of Xenforo I find out how much I being to like it. In my video I posted on youtube I was totally telling people not to buy Xenforo, now I'm telling you to buy it. Best professional forum software out there I've seen. I haven't ever had a chance to mess around with VBullention that much, but other than that I have been able to try every other software out there.(Almost all of them).
Comparing to Other Softwares:
At the beginning I was betraying it as already mention but as the saying goes dont Judge a book by its cover, this saying goes into play. Many forum softwares have a very dull enterance into their software. But some are very exciting and makes you go "All that for $$!!?" this one looks plain but wow. Dont judge the forum by its looks. Xenforo is the new and supposibly going to be the best forum on the web. Mybb, PhpBBB, VBulletnion, and IPB have many themes but XenForo doesn't have to many themes. But once XenForo comes out of beta the themes are going to be coming out like candy. XenForo has some very many cool features that no other forum has. Many features such as Thread Creators Avatar show in Section forum View. With the Big price tag on ZenForo might tell you to back away, but before you do so try out their free trail you can find here: http://xenforo.com/demo
MyBB is Free and has so many cool features you can put in as "Plugins" and so easy to access. As for Xenforo the admin Panel is confusing but I think that will coming with ease over getting use to. Comparing to phpBB, phpbb is also a easy to access forum but is a little harder to add features to the forum. PhpBB is easy to manages permissions, and sections on the forum, but Xenforo is the same if not easier.
Overall Xenforo gets the win for the following:

Most Professional
Coolest "Stock" features
Overall MyBB gets the win for the following:
Easiest to Use
Easiet to add features
Easiest to Manage
Overall phpBB gets the win for the following:

XenForo Admin Panel:
I've never been able to mess around with Vbullentions Admin panel but I think that is the only one that would be able to even touch XenForo's Admin panel. I'm not sure if I'm just likeing the design or if I'm liking all the features it has. Xenforo probably isn't the best for a noob to buy and use on their site but I think the price tag shows that. XenForo has some many features you get lost in there but they have a Navagation Bar that helps, but can be improved. When they were designing it I think they were to busy trying to make it clean with not to many links in the Navagiton Bar. But I think that needs to change because its not like everyone on your forum sees it so add some mroe tabs to make it easier to Navagate with. Another cool thing I think they could add is a pop down menu to select what you want to edit instead of clicking the link then finding the thing you want to edit. The photo in the panel are very neat and unique, best admin panel comparing to any other forum software. But the next stander to it is mybb.
