Death is quite scary if you think about it, but it happens to everyone; no matter what, you can not survive death, you can; if you get cured from severe problems but everyone dies and that's how the population system works, come at me death, obviously you'd plead for your life but you'll rather have it over and done with if your at that stage where you've had enough/your in a very bad condition and you can't control yourself any longer.

Why a public place? Fantasy? Dying in front of little kids at school? Only way I can make sense of that is for publicity and recognition

That is a good quote, but I guess the answer would be that you have the ability to overcome every obstacle that is presented to you in life. There is no escaping death.

Why would you attempt to escape something you haven't yet encountered fully? It leads back to the same answer.

I find death scary, sad, but also exciting. I am so curious to know what is waiting for me. I don't expect anything but the possibilities are endless:

I never even hinted at trying to escape death lol.,I actually said the exact opposite.

But to answer your question, it's because peopld are scared. And they should be. As far as I know death only occurs once. It is the point of no return. It's quite obvious why most people try to avoid it.

My exact words were: there is no escaping death. Hypothetically if some one tried to they couldn't. I even gave you a few reasons as to why some one might try to do so. Hypothetically.

Every time I think about dying, I get really bad anxiety. I hate thinking about my end days, but I just have to live life and enjoy it as much as I can. I just don't want my life to end early as in when I'm in my 20s I would feel comfortable dying in my 70s.

I'm not that worried about dying. Well i am but i'm not. What i'm most worried about is becoming crippled or a "vegetable". When i die, instead of my family crying over me, i wish them to rejoice and know that i am in a better place wherever this "place" may be.

I thought it was common sense that you become non-existant when you die... that's why it's feared.

What does it matter? You're not going to be able to reflect on such a horrific tragedy considering you're the one dying. From there you will be forgotten and the world will continue just like it did as if you were alive. The earth will lose one life from its population, but the circle of life will simply replenish it and repeat. We accepted the fact that we were going to die from the day we were conceived.
